Dana Lavertu Dana started his popular disc jockey service in the late 70's while attending Husson University as a business management major. He worked full and part-time beatmixing at the Bounty Taverne (one of Maine's most successful nightclubs) while also managing one of Maine's largest disc jockey services for the last 30 years.
In addition to the usual wedding reception, Dana has performed at many destination wedding venues in Bar Harbor and along the Maine coastline.
His appreciation for all genres of music has enabled him to build a very large music dance collection. He prides himself on being very knowledgeable in all types of music (dance, hip-hop, oldies, r&b, rock, jazz, standards, country, latin and everything in between). In addition, his background as a club DJ enables him to keep the music flowing with the right tempo throughout the event.
Along with the other disc jockeys in his company, they perform over 200 events a year. Dana's team is respected for specialized and customized weddings and parties. |
